To place the body or the future is already feminist is a research that works with and through the body towards the production of images as an expanded field of performativity. Inspired by feminist expressions in public spaces, it investigates the formation of archives containg collective expression by questioning the canonical and patriarcal notion of “action painting” and reflecting on the body-archive relationship. ​

The project focuses on the individual and collective production of the Mantas de manifestación series. The collective production of the banners is part of an art-education methodology that links living arts and visual arts practices, through gender studies and artistic experimentation, using a strategy of body, action, stroke and watercolor painting based on cochineal.

This long-term project addresses notions about gender, body, choreopolitics and community in different formats such as visual pieces, installative actions and collective processes.​
