Movilizar el discurso is a participatory art project that occurred in March 2024 summonding women and colectivas in the city of Guadalajara to activate, embody, and mobilize the banner series of Poner el cuerpo o el futuro ya es feminista (2022-ongoing). During four weeks the banners were available in temporary loan through the Zapopan Art Museum for scheduling activations.

 

Several actions took place with the Mantas de manifestación through the open call and by direct invitation to the colectivas. Thanks to the women who joined the project, an archive was collected with more than 100 activation materials in public spaces that claimed the power of words, actions, and collective energy of women.

Movilizar el discurso is gesture of collective invocation for the future and the present, a spell to protect spaces, and the recognition of all efforts that transform our everyday lives.
