Movilizar el discurso unfolds the banner series of Poner el cuerpo o el futuro ya es feminista (2022-ongoing) and their creation process, as well as, the documentation produced by women and collectives in Jalisco that activated and mobilized the banners in several public spaces along Guadalajara during March 2024.

 

Photographs, objects, audiovisual and sound materials, opened the archive on stage as a metaphor of the bodies, their actions and resonance in the place of "representation", but switching the role of the public to become part of the action, inviting to reflect on how to mobilize discourse, expanding questions and inhabiting the same space for keep building the desire of feminist futures.

The installation took place at the Zapopan Art Museum from April 18th to 25th and was curated by Olga Gutiérrez as part of the Live Arts Program. All the activities around Movilizar el discurso can be found here.
